Early life and rescue

Qing Lin grew up ostracized in Shimo City because she carried both human and snake-person blood. Unable to find work, she was captured by slavers after taking a detour home and was being transported for sale when Lin Yuan intercepted the convoy and killed her captors. 21

Initially terrified and convinced that medicine and kindness were wasted on someone like her, Qing Lin gradually trusted Lin Yuan after he openly rejected prejudice against her bloodline. When he invited her to travel with him, she accepted his hand and chose to follow him. 21 22

Awakening of the Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils

Lin Yuan used medicinal baths, Illusion Dream Incense, and induced emotional pressure to awaken Qing Lin's dormant constitution. Her Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils successfully subdued the Two-Headed Fire Spirit Snake, later called Crimson Jade, which enabled communication with the beast and access to the Green Lotus Core Flame's location. 24 25

She quickly began building a force of snake-type Magical Beasts. Within days of her awakening, she had five fourth-tier snake-shaped followers, who served both as bodyguards and as a source of accelerated cultivation. 25

When the Mo Family attempted to seize her pupils, Qing Lin chose to confront the threat herself. She commanded her Magical Beasts to slaughter the attackers, briefly trapped Mo Cheng in an illusion during his sneak attack, and ordered the remaining Mo Family members eliminated.
