Vast earth, rolling mountains, winding rivers surging without rest. Beneath the high, pale-blue sky, a streak of green light shot past like a shuttle. Yue Qianchou stood with his hands behind his back atop the giant bat, silently admiring the magnificent rivers and mountains below, emotion stirring in his heart. As the two several-meter-long fleshy wings flapped, they scattered faint green radiance like rainbows. Along the edges of the wings, gorgeous green arcs rose and fell with every beat, a beautiful sight indeed. Yue Qianchou had expected to endure tremendous wind pressure while standing on top, given their astonishing speed. Yet to his surprise, the instant the enormous bat took flight, a stunning arc-shaped green glow enveloped its body as it tore through the air.
Specks of green radiance, like a thin nebula, began at the giant bat's head and streamed toward its tail, forming a green afterflame. Its beauty was beyond words. Standing on Wei Chunqiu's back, Yue Qianchou felt as though he had fallen into a dream. He could not feel the wind pressure caused by their tremendous speed at all. It was truly marvelous.
Each slow flap of those green
