Mel looked at the Hall-level mage before him, raised an eyebrow slightly, and suddenly curled his lips into a smile as he put away his undead staff in his storage space.
"Hey! Aren't you a little too confident?"
Hearing Mel's reply, the Hall-level mage actually thought he had misheard. He froze for a moment. "What?"
But Mel was in no mood to answer him a second time. His figure and presence vanished from before the mage in a flash.
When he appeared again, a deadly dagger had already plunged into the mage's back. His defensive magic activated successfully, but it failed to stop the attack.
The strike pierced straight through his defenses and hit his life directly.
There was not much pain, because in an instant, he lost all consciousness. His vision went black as he fell from the sky, a sharp gash behind him spilling blood that bloomed like flowers.
Mel spread Magic Perception across the enemy camp and leisurely wiped his dagger. "It's normal for a Legendary-level mage to know a few assassin skills, isn't it?"
