Orochimaru smiled at those envious gazes and looked at Hinata.
"Hinata, do you like Naruto-kun?" Orochimaru had just seen how Hinata's eyes were filled with tenderness whenever she looked at Naruto.
Hearing Orochimaru's question, Hinata's face immediately flushed crimson. She lowered her head and softly hummed in acknowledgment.
So this little girl from the Hyuga Clan really did like Naruto. After thinking for a moment, Orochimaru said, "Hinata, do you think I like Naruto-kun too?"
The question came too suddenly, and Hinata did not know how to answer for a moment. If she said yes, it would seem rude. After all, this was someone Naruto-kun had brought with him.
"You don't have to hold it in," Orochimaru said with a smile. "The way you look at me is full of wariness, so I figured you must be guarding against me, afraid I'd steal Naruto-kun away."
"But don't worry about that, Hinata. Naruto-kun is too young. We aren't suitable for each other."
Orochimaru spoke with a smile at the corner of her lips, but inwardly she thought, The little one truly has nothing to worry about. I only want a bit of Naruto's protein. I have no interest in anything else.
Hearing Tsukishirohime bare her heart, Hinata let out a sigh of relief. Her eyes instantly brimmed with happiness. Still, she did not agree with Tsukishirohime's words at all. Naruto was not small at all—he was very big. She might not even be able to handle him.
"Thank you, Sister Tsukishirohime," Hinata said sincerely.
Naruto did not deliberately listen in on the conversation in the women's bath. With his hearing, it would not have been difficult if he wanted to, but he clearly would not do such a thing.
He was not the kind of guy Jiraiya was.
