After assigning Kakashi's class,
Hiruzen Sarutobi's gaze fell on the other students' records.
In truth, he had long since made plans for this class assignment. Looking over the files, he murmured, "Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi—the Ino-Shika-Cho families. Let Asuma lead them."
"As for Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame, they'll be assigned to Kurenai."
"Asuma, this is all I can do for you. I just hope you won't disappoint me..." As he muttered, Hiruzen Sarutobi could not help recalling his second son's terrible temper. With that personality, once he realized his father's intentions, he would probably quit on the spot.
At that moment, Hiruzen Sarutobi thought of Konohamaru's father—his eldest son, Shinnosuke Sarutobi.
Thinking of his eldest son made Hiruzen Sarutobi's heart ache. He mourned his son's untimely death. His second son was not particularly promising either, Konohamaru was still too young, and he himself was getting old. Many things were becoming difficult to handle.
Meanwhile, in the classroom,
Iruka and Mizuki sat behind the lectern, holding the graduation assessment forms.
After five years of recovery, Mizuki's hand had finally healed. Yet because of that, he had come to hate Iruka and Naruto.
"All right, when I call your name, come up for your assessment..."
"Choji Akimichi." Iruka called out the first name.
Choji Akimichi walked to the open space in front of the lectern with a bag of chips in hand, eating as he went, ready for the assessment.
The assessment covered the Transformation Jutsu, Substitution Technique, Clone Technique, and Kunai throwing.
"Begin," Iruka said.
"Mm."
"Transformation Jutsu."
Choji Akimichi formed hand seals. With a swish, he transformed into Iruka. Iruka nodded as he watched. Both his appearance and bearing were accurate. After all, the Choji from before had turned himself into a huge fat man.
