Background

Kakashi was once the student of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and a teammate of Obito Uchiha and Rin. Obito gave Kakashi his left Sharingan, while Rin's death by Kakashi's own hand and Obito's presumed death became lasting sources of guilt.
