Tony had been dealing with a headache lately. The Ten Rings had openly provoked him, and he had to respond, or it would be a blow to Stark Industries' reputation.
Moreover, he held the terrorists' weapons and operational capabilities in utter contempt. When responding to the matter, he had even brazenly announced his home address, practically daring them to come at him.
Then... then his house got bombed.
Three military-grade missiles meant for international warfare came down. If the suddenly appearing Dream Garden force had not been prepared to counter them, not only would his home have been reduced to ruins, but Happy Hogan, Little Pepper, and the others who had been inside at the time might have been endangered as well. Tony was furious!
He refused Dream Garden's request for joint operations and declared that he would personally destroy them. His proud nature had been brought fully to the surface by his rage.
Tony had never cared about the constraints of material things or everyday life, but the few things he did care about were Little Pepper, his friends, and the truth behind his parents' deaths.
He did not know what kind of force the suddenly appearing Dream Garden was, but their methods—wearing special combat suits while fighting with spells and supernatural abilities—felt familiar to Iron Man. Clearly, their style was cut from the same cloth as the Light Chasers and Rimuru. They were a force from the void at the end of the universe... and were most likely connected to Rimuru.
He knew he owed that force, and Rimuru, another favor. But this was not the time to dwell on it.
