Early Life and Saintess Training

Bibi Dong entered Spirit Hall at six, immediately after awakening her Martial Souls, and received its focused training. Her Twin Martial Souls made her an exceptional prospect: Spirit Hall's leaders expected her to become a powerhouse comparable to Qian Daoliu. Intensive cultivation and the expectations placed on her left her with little contact with people her own age 464 465 504.

She met Yu Xiaogang in Spirit Hall's archives while seeking answers about cultivation. His theoretical research and unconventional skepticism distinguished him from the experts around her, and she fell in love with him. Through her support, he gained access to Spirit Hall's records and texts 241 464 504.

Her original past was marked by Qian Xunji's sexual violation and Yu Xiaogang's exploitation of her love. These experiences fostered her distrust of men and hatred of the Qian Family. She also pushed away her daughter, Qian Renxue 462.

Papacy and Divided Authority

Bibi Dong became Pope after Qian Xunji's death, when Qian Renxue was too young to succeed him. Although she occupied the office, the Elder Hall remained Spirit Hall's highest authority, and many powerful elders answered to Qian Daoliu rather than to her. She trained Hu Liena as her personal disciple, cared about her emotional well-being, and considered sending her to the City of Slaughter for further growth. Her own cultivation and papal duties meant that she provided guidance only occasionally 52 382 452.

Conflict with Zhao Ming

Bibi Dong sensed the disturbance caused by Zhao Ming's Emperor God Domain. Spirit Hall subsequently investigated his growing influence and sought to bring the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect under its control 359 373.

The confrontation became a major humiliation when Zhao Ming defeated Spirit Hall's expedition. Three Titled Douluo died, while Chrysanthemum Douluo returned severely injured with a warning against opposing him. Bibi Dong admitted that she had underestimated Zhao Ming, but her limited command over Spirit Hall's strongest experts restricted her options for retaliation 380 382.

Zhao Ming also sent her a Recording Stone through Hu Liena. Its genuine recordings exposed Yu Xiaogang's ulterior motives and contemptuous remarks about her. Bibi Dong initially suspected a scheme, then broke down when she recognized the evidence as real 382.

After Zhao Ming rescued the exposed and gravely injured Qian Renxue, Bibi Dong demanded her daughter's return. She attacked him with spider lances when he refused, but ultimately spared him. She marked him so she could track his location and ordered him to visit Spirit Hall within a month 417 418.

Bibi Dong later watched Zhao Ming defeat the Heaven Dou forces and secure the surrender of five hundred thousand soldiers. She regretted allowing him time to grow, yet continued to regard godhood as the decisive advantage that could reverse the balance of power 425 426.

Qian Renxue's Betrothal

When Qian Daoliu announced Qian Renxue's betrothal to Zhao Ming, Bibi Dong opposed it on both personal and political grounds. She distrusted Zhao Ming's many relationships and feared that his alliance with Qian Daoliu would undermine her authority 457 458.

She required Zhao Ming to defeat Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo before accepting the match. After his swift victory, she agreed not to interfere, while warning him against hurting Qian Renxue. She remained opposed to his relationship with Hu Liena 458 462.

Altered Past

Zhao Ming offered to take Bibi Dong back to her youth so she could change her fate. In the past, she did not retain knowledge of future events, while he appeared as a Divine Envoy emerging from the Angel God's statue. The young Saintess, who had just questioned the Angel God's existence, became frightened that her doubts had endangered Spirit Hall 436 462 464.

She repeatedly defended Yu Xiaogang and sought permission to choose her own partner. Zhao Ming used his supposed divine authority to manipulate their relationship, arrange misunderstandings, and gain her trust. Bibi Dong interpreted his apparent leniency toward Yu Xiaogang as generosity 466 467 470 471 472.

Their relationship fractured when Yu Xiaogang insulted her and destroyed the medicinal pills she had brought to heal his Martial Soul. Believing the loss had endangered Zhao Ming, she became overwhelmed with guilt. Zhao Ming staged an apparent cultivation collapse and consoled her, deepening her attachment to him 475 476 477.

By Zhao Ming's return from a month-long absence, Bibi Dong had fallen in love with him and ignored Yu Xiaogang. Qian Xunji supported their union, and Spirit Hall announced their wedding for the following week 485 494 499.

Return and Divine Ascension

After returning, Bibi Dong recognized Zhao Ming's deception and confronted him with killing intent. At the same time, she discovered that her cultivation had reached Level 99 and that she had obtained the Asura God's legacy. Despite her anger, she remembered their time in the past as the happiest period of her life 502 504.

She accompanied him toward Heaven Dou City and asked that their relationship remain secret there. She later acknowledged herself as his woman and recognized that her attachment to Spirit Hall remained strong despite her former hatred. Zhao Ming proposed retaining Spirit Hall under her and Qian Renxue's management as the Heaven's Mandate Empire's state temple 503 505 506.
