Background / History

Tang San transmigrated with the Tang Sect's Compendium of Hidden Weapons and Tang Sect Techniques. He possessed Twin Martial Souls, while his father Tang Hao was the Clear Sky Douluo and his aunt was the master of Moonlight Pavilion. 4 235

At Nuoding Academy, Tang San became Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang's disciple and reacted angrily when Zhao Ming insulted his teacher. Their hostility began early, with Tang San preparing to use the Mysterious Jade Hand against Zhao Ming. 8 18

Tang San repeatedly sparred with Xiao Wu after concluding that fighting her would improve his strength. Tang Hao secretly used these exchanges to observe Xiao Wu's Soul Power circulation and investigate whether she was a soul beast in human form. 25 Tang San later attempted to attack Zhao Ming with concealed Hidden Weapons, but Flame Spirit Princess disrupted his Soul Power and Xiao Wu defeated him. 30 31

After Tang Hao's death, Tang San withdrew from Nuoding Academy with Grandmaster before Zhao Ming could find him. 42

Appearance

Tang San wore Nuoding Academy's uniform with an ornate black belt during his early academy years. After becoming an Evil Soul Master, he developed an unhealthy pallor, bloodshot eyes, and a dark-blue aura. 18 356

  • His hands turn jade-white when using the Mysterious Jade Hand. 8
  • His corrupted Blue Silver Grass becomes blue-black. 354
  • He later suffered the loss of both arms when Zhao Ming intervened at Moonlight Pavilion. 357

Personality

Tang San is intensely proud of his status as a transmigrator, Twin Martial Soul user, son of Tang Hao, and presumed heir to the Clear Sky Sect's legacy. He repeatedly believed that his talent and Hidden Weapons would eventually let him surpass Zhao Ming. 236 276 349

His attachment to Xiao Wu became possessive and obsessive. He regarded Zhao Ming as having taken what belonged to him, and his resentment worsened whenever Zhao Ming publicly displayed affection for Xiao Wu or other women. 29 277 349

Following the collapse of his ties to the Four Great Clans and the influence of Ruhua's power, Tang San's hatred escalated into violence and madness. He became an Evil Soul Master, targeted women resembling Xiao Wu, and attempted to assault Tang Yuehua to hurt Zhao Ming. 354 356 357
