Background

In an account of his past life, Mo Ziqian appeared as a ghost who had escaped hell. He had repeatedly attempted to assassinate Meng Shiwan over her role in the downfall of the Guang Clan Dragon Tribe, but every otherwise flawless attempt failed through unexplained intervention. His cultivation was stated to be two levels above Shaoguang's, yet Meng Shiwan continually escaped him 458.

He later became a disciple of Gui Class under Yuan Tuo. Though he presented himself as easygoing and courteous, he deliberately concealed much of his strength; Yuan Tuo determined that he had used less than half his power during a spar with Lu Yao 26.

Mo Ziqian's home was a modest thatched cottage in Kuaiji Commandery, Zhe Province. He brought his mother to Chongwu Mountain after the group built their shared immortal residence, hoping she would move on from her century-long wait for his father 138.

The Mo Family head later lured the group into a trap. Mo Ziqian fought alongside Meng Anli until the family head captured and killed him, then falsely accused him of planning to poison the group's commercial goods. White Impermanence took his soul on the claim that his allotted lifespan had ended, despite his having eaten a longevity-extending Fire Date 142 144.
