Before the words had even fallen, Nezha suddenly exerted his strength, his body dragging out a crimson afterimage as he charged straight out of the dim White Bone Cave.
"Nezha! Stop!"
Yin Shiniang was scared out of her wits, her face instantly turning deathly pale. No one knew a son better than his mother; she understood Nezha's stubborn nature all too well. If the child said he would do something, he would do it. If he said he would cut off his flesh, it was absolutely no empty threat.
She hurriedly lifted her skirt and chased after him. Shi Ji's face showed alarm, and she instinctively looked toward Di Xin. Di Xin, however, unhurriedly set down his teacup, a hint of approval flashing through his eyes, then walked out of the cave at an easy pace.
Outside Skull Mountain.
Randeng, who had been forcibly fixed in midair by Di Xin's power as Human Emperor, and Li Jing, who was sprawled in the mud, still remained in their stiff postures. The magic power around them was deathly still; they could not even blink, and could only barely move their eyeballs, their gazes filled with extreme terror.
Nezha, carrying killing intent all over him, landed steadily three steps in front of Li Jing.
He lowered his head and stared fixedly at Li Jing, who was covered in blood and unable to move. His small hand flipped over, cold light flashing, and the sharp dagger Li Jing had previously used to try to assassinate Yin Shiniang was now clutched tightly in Nezha's hand.
"Li Jing."
Nezha's voice no longer held the previous frenzy. Instead, it carried a deathly stillness that made one despair.
"You called me a bastard, said I wasn't fit to be your son. Good. Wonderful. That's exactly what I wanted."
