Background / History
Di Xin awakens with memories of another life and realizes he has transmigrated into the doomed ruler of the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation. Determined to preserve Great Shang and prevent the Human Emperor from being reduced to a Son of Heaven, he accepts the System's mission to alter the grand trend and protect the Human Race's fortune 501.
The System itself is an arrangement created by Qin Xuan, who supplies its rewards. Di Xin is also Qin Xuan's reincarnated essence blood, though Di Xin initially knows only that he feels an unexplained connection to the Dao Venerable 501 651.
After consulting Bigan, Di Xin discovers that Primordial history has already diverged sharply from the version he remembers because of Qin Xuan's actions. Learning that Qin Xuan is revered throughout the Human Race and has protected the Ancestral Witches against Hongjun's schemes, Di Xin recognizes him as a potential pillar of support 505.
Appearance
Di Xin is a tall, robust man with sharply defined features, deep eyes, and an innate imperial bearing that remains apparent even in plain clothing 563 660.
- Often wears dark royal robes marked with the Black Golden Xuan Bird emblem 592.
- Possesses a powerful fleshly body capable of distorting space with a clenched fist after refining the Golden Dragon of Luck 633.
- After enduring the Primordial Divine Thunder, his body is left charred and wounded, yet he remains standing until he collapses from exhaustion 563.
Personality
Di Xin is intensely proactive and refuses to submit to a fate dictated by Hongjun, the Saints, or the Investiture of the Gods. He treats his knowledge of the original trajectory as a strategic advantage, but adjusts his plans when he discovers that history has already changed 501 505.
As a ruler, he is reform-minded and focused on strengthening Great Shang through agriculture, education, social mobility, and centralized administration. He is willing to provoke entrenched officials and aristocrats if their interests conflict with the prosperity of the populace 516 529 556.
He can also be ruthless and calculating. Di Xin executes enemies who threaten Great Shang, publicly turns rebellion into a political display of authority, and uses harsh punishments to crush resistance 533 537 613. Despite this, he values capable subordinates, protects those under his care, and repeatedly invests resources in Great Shang's people and defenders 536 616 668.

Di Xin can perceive unusually deep karmic connections due to the diluted Great Dao-level Law of Karma contained in Qin Xuan's essence blood 533.
