Shen Yuanyi killed Shuten Doji and found Kenjaku, then joined the Fujiwara Clan while pursuing a way back to his own era. His search led him to Tengen, whose Immortality technique began reviving a woman at Mount Hiei.

• Igarashi Kai led the sorcerers into Shuten Doji’s domain on Mount Oe, where Shen Yuanyi and Mizuno Shiina encountered Ibaraki Doji and the group entered Shuten’s palace.
• Shuten Doji revealed his Demon God's Karma and Domain Expansion, while Ibaraki Doji fought the sorcerers and expanded Bloodbone Thousand Banquet Festival.
• Shen Yuanyi used Onikiri to defeat Ibaraki Doji, then took Dojigiri Yasutsuna from Igarashi Kai and killed Shuten Doji with Time Acceleration.
• Shen Yuanyi gave the newly transformed Dojigiri to Igarashi Kai, then traveled with Mizuno Shiina and Fujiwara Masanobu to meet Ninomiya Chika, who revealed Kenjaku had stolen jujutsu records from Ise Grand Shrine.
• Shen Yuanyi encountered Kenjaku, brought him to the Fujiwara Clan, and began working with him to investigate time travel while teaching Sukuna and Mizuno Shiina jujutsu.
• Shen Yuanyi destroyed Moriwaki Shuichi’s pirate faction with Final Void, then helped the Fujiwara Clan crush its political enemies during a month-long purge.
• Shen Yuanyi and Kenjaku developed plans for nationwide barriers to gather Cursed Energy, and Mizuno Shiina reported leads that brought them to Mount Hiei in search of Tengen.
• Shen Yuanyi tested a woman for Tengen’s Immortality technique, restrained Master Saicho with Mizuno Shiina’s help, and used Wheel of Time: Reverse when the woman’s corpse began to revive.

Shen Yuanyi’s barrier weakened curses and sorcerers, and he provoked a final battle to bring the jujutsu era to an end. After defeating Abe no Seimei’s forces and Tamamo-no-Mae, Shen Yuanyi battled Sukuna and his allies, leaving Sukuna preparing his strongest attack.

• Shen Yuanyi and Kenjaku activated a nationwide barrier to drain cursed energy, while Tengen agreed that it could reduce violence and restore order.
• After Mizuno Shiina died, Shen Yuanyi stole sacred treasures, unleashed Yamata no Orochi on Heian-kyō, and later destroyed the serpent himself before telling Abe no Seimei that he intended to end the jujutsu era.
• Shen Yuanyi defeated Seimei and summoned sorcerers to a final battle, where he fought through wave after wave and explained that the barrier and their deaths would weaken curses and end the era.
• Sukuna joined the battle with Uraume and Yorozu, while Shen Yuanyi defeated Tamamo-no-Mae with Domain Expansion: Final Void.
• Sukuna expanded Malevolent Shrine, but Shen Yuanyi endured its slashes and fought him with Ama no Habakiri and his cursed blades.
• Shen Yuanyi cut apart Uraume, destroyed Yorozu’s Insect Armor, and killed her with Godspeed Slash: Limitless.
• Sukuna began chanting after forming two cursed seals, and Shen Yuanyi challenged him to use his strongest jujutsu.

Shen Yuanyi defeated Sukuna, rescued Megumi, and spent years preparing to cross into another time and space. There, he became young Gojo Satoru’s teacher and began changing the futures of Toji, Megumi, and other sorcerers, ending as he reversed Ogata Yuzuki’s illness.

• Shen Yuanyi returned to a devastated Shinjuku, revived Gojo Satoru, and defeated Sukuna with the sorcerers’ help, freeing Megumi Fushiguro from Sukuna’s control.
• Shen Yuanyi gave Gojo Satoru the embryo containing Tengen’s remains, and the sorcerers spent thirteen years changing it to harvest curses before Shen Yuanyi used it to leave their time and space.
• Shen Yuanyi arrived in the past, met young Gojo Satoru, and became his teacher, training him after he awakened Limitless.
• Shen Yuanyi met Toji Fushiguro and told him about his future, then later asked him to help with future tasks in exchange for sustaining his ill wife, Ogata Yuzuki.
• Shen Yuanyi recruited Tsukumo Yuki to watch for Kenjaku and warned her about the danger he posed.
• Shen Yuanyi helped Toji decide that Megumi should be entrusted to the Gojo Family for protection.
• Shen Yuanyi used Domain Expansion: Guixu: Limitless and the Yata no Kagami to reverse Ogata Yuzuki’s illness, restoring her vitality as Toji and the sorcerers watched.

Shen Yuanyi confronted Kenjaku, guided the Star Plasma Vessel mission, and helped Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto reshape the Jujutsu world. The arc ended with Yuta joining Shen Yuanyi’s students and meeting Megumi.

• Gojo Satoru formed an incomplete Domain Expansion, and Shen Yuanyi warned him that he remained vulnerable until he mastered Reverse Cursed Technique.
• Shen Yuanyi trained Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, Ieiri Shoko, Mei Mei, and Utahime through lethal combat, and Gojo glimpsed the core of Cursed Energy before Shen Yuanyi revived the group.
• Shen Yuanyi returned to the moment Tsukumo Yuki confronted Kenjaku, destroyed Kenjaku’s true body, and learned from Tengen about his destructive past counterpart.
• Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Ieiri Shoko escorted Tenna Riko, saved the passengers on a hijacked plane, and Gojo rejected sacrificing Riko to complete the mission.
• Shen Yuanyi helped Megumi awaken the Ten Shadows Technique, and Gojo Satoru took Megumi into the Gojo Family before the Zenin Clan could claim him.
• Geto Suguru freed Nanako Hasaba and Mimiko from a village cage, accepted Shen Yuanyi’s plan to reveal jujutsu gradually, and joined him and Gojo Satoru in founding New World.
• Yuta chose to enter the Jujutsu world so he could protect his loved ones, and Shen Yuanyi introduced him to Megumi as his upperclassman.
