Background / History

Xiao Wu lived in the Star Dou Great Forest with her mother, Dancing Ji. While still a child, she listened to Dancing Ji describe the human world and its dangers. When Bibi Dong led Spirit Hall forces to hunt Dancing Ji for her soul ring, Xiao Wu was ordered to flee and seek Da Ming and Er Ming. 16

After Dancing Ji was critically wounded, Xiao Wu begged Chu Fan to save her mother. Chu Fan healed Dancing Ji, earning Xiao Wu's gratitude; she gave him a flower, which he placed in her hair. At this point, she knew him only as “Big Brother” and the Azure Lotus benefactor. 17 18

Xiao Wu chose transformation into a human in order to enter the human world, seek Big Brother, and eventually cultivate to level 100 to escape the fate of a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. 41 122 At Nuoding Academy, she did not recognize Chu Fan because he had changed his appearance and identity. 41 42

Appearance

In her early human form, Xiao Wu is a small girl with a fair, rosy complexion, large watery eyes, and long black hair usually tied into a scorpion braid. Her clothing changes from a pink, fluffy outfit in the Star Dou Great Forest to a plain but neat academy uniform at Nuoding Academy. 16 41
