Yu Nanyuan gained a powerful Soul Spirit, challenged Shrek Academy’s students, and became Yun Ming’s disciple before returning to Eastsea City. As Class Zero prepared for Shrek’s admission assessment, he joined a patrol against Sea Soul Beasts and killed three Dark Thunder Tiger Sharks.

• After Shrek Academy’s defeat damaged its reputation, Ye Xinglan begged Yu Nanyuan to help restore it, but he refused, and two and a half years passed.
• Yu Nanyuan fused with a twenty-thousand-year Evil Eye Tyrant, reached the Spirit Abyss Realm, and challenged Shrek Academy’s Young Talent List students.
• Yu Nanyuan defeated Shrek students including Duan Hunxiao, Yuanen Yehui, Mo Jue, and Li Qiankun, then accepted Yun Ming as his master and Na’er as his senior sister.
• Yu Nanyuan trained under Yun Ming, learned new spear techniques, and returned to Eastsea City, where he and Gu Yue tested his strength in the Intermediate Spirit Ascension Platform.
• Yu Nanyuan gave Tang Wulin rare spiritual items, and Tang Wulin later broke his second seal as Class Zero resumed training for Shrek Academy’s Admission Assessment.

Yu Nanyuan reunited with Na’er and Gu Yue, then led his classmates through Shrek Academy’s admission assessment and became class monitor. As he settled into academy life and planned his Dou Kai, he intervened in Yue Zhengyu and Yuanen Yehui’s fight and reunited with his new dormmate Xu Lizhi.

• Yu Nanyuan brought Gu Yue to meet Lan Fozi, learned of her identity as the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King’s daughter, and returned home grieving after Yu Zhen told him his parents had died fighting beyond the Douluo Plane.
• Yu Nanyuan visited Sea God Island, sparred with Na’er, and received Ya Li’s advice about his feelings for Gu Yue before joining Class Zero for the Shrek Academy admission assessment.
• Yu Nanyuan, Gu Yue, and Xu Xiaoyan fought their way through the assessment melee, where Yu Nanyuan defeated the remaining challengers and became class monitor with Gu Yue and Wu Siduo as vice monitors.
• Yu Nanyuan cultivated on Sea God Island, reached level forty-four, and told Yun Ming he intended to design and craft his own Dou Kai.
• Yu Nanyuan organized his classmates’ association registrations and registered as a Level Five Mecha Manufacturer with Mo Jue.

Yu Nanyuan led First Grade Class One to victory, formed a Soul Core, and traveled to Heaven Dou City with Na'er. After stopping a terrorist takeover of their train, he met Zhen Hua and Mu Ye to arrange materials for Two-Word Dou Kai.

• Wu Zhangkong chose Yu Nanyuan to lead First Grade Class One against Second Grade, and Yu Nanyuan selected the team before helping Ye Xinglan rethink her approach to sword intent.
• Tang Wulin won the forging match, Yu Nanyuan won the Mecha Design and Mecha Manufacturing contests, and Yuanen Yehui's team defeated First Grade in mecha repair.
• Yu Nanyuan completed Gu Yue's Silver Dragon Headband, then used his spatial abilities to help First Grade Class One win the Seven vs Seven Team Battle against Yuanen Yehui's team.
• Ya Li stopped Yuanen Yehui's final attack and named First Grade Class One the winner, while Yun Ming later gave Yu Nanyuan two Void Beast soul bones.
• Yu Nanyuan formed a Soul Core, reached rank fifty, and gained his fifth Soul Ring before Wu Zhangkong announced the Final Exam's city-travel challenge.

Yu Nanyuan helped Yuanen Yehui claim a Titan Giant Ape Soul Spirit, then led Shrek students through their Final Exams and defeated Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy. Back at Shrek, he continued navigating his relationships with Gu Yue, Na'er, and Xu Xiaoyan as the Holy Spirit Cult threat and his Dou Kai training remained unresolved.

• Yu Nanyuan and Na'er visited Long Bing’s grave with Wu Zhangkong, then Muye explained that Yu Nanyuan’s bloodline and Martial Soul made him a candidate for the Body Sect’s secret method.
• Yu Nanyuan, Gu Yue, Yuanen Yehui, and Yue Zhengyu challenged the Soul Spirit Tower, where Yu Nanyuan and Gu Yue defeated the Titan Giant Ape so Yuanen could fuse with its Soul Spirit.
• Gu Yue and Yu Nanyuan grew closer during their time together, while Na'er told Ya Li she would wait for Yu Nanyuan to choose her and Ya Li planned a Star Luo Continent trip for them.
• Yu Nanyuan and Gu Yue returned to Eastsea City for the Final Exam matches, where Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan defeated Ouyang Zixin and Mu Xi, and Yu Nanyuan beat Xu Xiaoyu.
• Yu Nanyuan took Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan across the mainland to complete their assessments, then gathered classmates in Mingdu after Tang Wulin and Xie Xie lost to Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy.
