Xiao Chen established the Xiao Sect, traveled to the Central Plains, and helped Xiao Yan win the Pill Gathering while confronting Soul Hall. As the group entered the Ancient Sky Phoenix Relic, Xiao Chen learned that Soul Hall had attacked the Xiao Sect and returned to Jia Ma Empire, leaving Xiao Yan behind.

• Xiao Chen established the Xiao Sect, demonstrated his Dou Zun power, and left Xiao Yan and Xiao Zhan in charge before heading to the Central Plains.
• Xiao Chen befriended Han Yue, protected her caravan, and reached Sacred Pill City, where he certified as a sixth-grade alchemist and investigated Soul Hall.
• Xiao Chen secretly protected Xiao Yan during the Pill Gathering, then killed a Five Star Dou Venerate from Soul Hall after Xiao Yan won the championship.
