• Lin Nai rescued Kiana from the gang pursuing him, and the two left town together to search for her father.
• After a year of traveling and fighting Honkai Beasts, Lin Nai and Kiana encountered Bronya and invited her to join them.
• Bronya was abducted by a masked man, and Lin Nai and Kiana tracked her to an underground base where children were being held and trained.
• Lin Nai freed Bronya, protected her from her captor’s gunfire, and helped her confront the man after he injected himself with an unknown substance.

• Lin Nai brought Mei Raiden back to Raiden Ryoma, then settled into a routine of games, meals, and a visit to ME Corp.'s secret factory, where Tesla showed off the Explosive Rattlesnake mech.
• A month later, Lin Nai joined Tesla and Einstein at Cocolia Orphanage to investigate unusual Honkai energy fluctuations, and he discovered a toy robot containing a vial of purple serum in nearby ruins.
• Kiana and Bronya questioned Sean’s bodyguard, who mentioned Honkai Serum, while Raven and Jackal discussed Doctor Mobius’s scheme and Gray Snake’s role.
• Lin Nai found that the serum triggered Honkai energy readings, but the fluctuations stopped returning, and he remained alert to the possibility that Otto would target him.
• Lin Nai took the orphanage children shopping for Christmas, then confronted Gray Snake, who returned in spare bodies and told Lin Nai he would lead the serpent’s plan before shooting himself.

• Lin Nai rescued Seele from a trap, but World Serpent’s quantization force dragged him into the Sea of Quantum after he gave Bronya the Herrscher of Reason Core and promised Kiana he would return.
• Kiana resolved to bring Lin Nai back, while she and Bronya reunited with Siegfried, Welt, Mei Raiden, and Raiden Ryoma, and Bronya then learned that Raiden Ryoma had been arrested and went to help Mei.
• Kiana and Bronya traveled to Changkong City, and Lin Nai arrived there with new power from the Imaginary Tree and learned of Raiden Ryoma’s arrest.
