Yun Feng brought Zhu Zhuqing to Shrek Academy, where he clashed with Dai Mubai and helped the students face their first training and Soul Arena battles. After Dai Mubai’s attack on Oscar and Yun Feng’s brutal retaliation, the students set out for the Star Dou Great Forest to seek new Soul Rings.

• Yun Feng met the injured Zhu Zhuqing, heard how her family had hunted her after she fled, and invited her to travel with him to Shrek Academy.
• At Shrek Academy, Flender accepted Zhu Zhuqing and Yun Feng, whose Candle Nine Yin Martial Soul and Level 40 Soul Power stunned the students, and agreed to Yun Feng’s demands for better facilities and training freedom.
• Dai Mubai attacked Yun Feng over Zhu Zhuqing, but Yun Feng overpowered him before Zhu Zhuqing stopped the fight and challenged Dai Mubai over abandoning their shared goal.
• Flender confronted Ning Rongrong over skipping training, but Ning Rongrong threatened the academy until Flender showed her Ning Fengzhi’s letter and admitted he had used the wrong teaching method.
• At the Soto Great Spirit Arena, Xiao Wu defeated Qing Nian, Zhu Zhuqing beat Tang San, and Yun Feng and Xiao Wu won their two-on-two match against the Iron Armor Combination.
• After Dai Mubai threatened Ning Rongrong, Yun Feng beat him badly at her request, and Oscar later discovered that Dai Mubai had attacked him and sucked his blood.

Shrek Academy’s search for soul rings brought the group into conflict with the Peerless Dragon Serpent and then the Titan Giant Ape, which carried Xiao Wu and several others away. Yun Feng obtained his fourth soul ring, the group reunited and returned safely, while Tang Hao entered Slaughter City to seek relief from his bloodthirsty illness.

• At an inn, Ma Hongjun provoked Canghui Academy, and Zhao Wuji drove off its teacher Ye Zhiqiu.
• In the Star Dou Great Forest, Zhao Wuji gave the Phoenix-tail Crested Serpent to Meng Yiran, and Meng Shu offered to help Yun Feng find his fourth soul ring.
• The Titan Giant Ape attacked the group and carried Xiao Wu, Yun Feng, Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, and Meng Yiran into the forest.
• Xiao Wu spoke with Er Ming, who took her toward the forest’s core and left a ten-thousand-year soul beast to guard the others.
