"What's up there? Is that the little sun?"

Fox pointed her slender, jade-white finger at the Artificial Sun shining overhead.

She still remembered Lokasky saying that entering ruins like these meant certain death.

"No need to worry. The energy system here is still intact. Look closely at that little sun. Isn't it wrapped in a transparent shell?"

Chen Cheng pointed it out to them.

"What kind of divine material could withstand the sun's scorching heat?"

Lokasky could not help sighing.

"It's not a divine material. It should be a special magnetic confinement device. As long as the sun inside doesn't run out of control, the heat it can actually give off isn't as great as you imagine."

Chen Cheng only offered a brief explanation. If they mistook the protective shell for some divine material and destroyed it, that would be a terrible waste.

None of them knew whether Chen Cheng was right, but he looked serious, so they did not argue.

"Should we wait here for your people to come down, Chairman, or keep going?"

Chen Cheng looked at Lokasky.

Lokasky glanced at the ruins ahead, buried beneath weeds and ancient trees, then said:

"It's all ancient forest out there. Are you going to clear a path?"

"I'd better go back up," A Bei said.

"All right. Be careful, and come back if anything happens."

Chen Cheng nodded.

A Bei nodded too, then walked step by step back into the dark seawater.

Fortunately, he was strong enough. The domain he spread out could protect him alone in this ten-thousand-meter trench.

Watching A Bei rise rapidly, Chen Cheng said:

"Let's not sit idle. We can fly up and get an overview of these ruins from above."

"Don't bother trying. I already did. Our domains are suppressed in here. We can't fly."
