Background / History

Before becoming Qian Gu Shi Long, he was a common-born youth named Xiang Nian. His childhood dream was to become a god like Sea God Tang San, but after awakening his Martial Soul, he lowered his aspirations first to becoming a Titled Douluo, then simply to obtaining a compatible soul spirit, Rank 2 Battle Armor, and a home in Mingdu. 348

His early life led him to believe that family, friends, institutions, and governments were unreliable, and that only he could be trusted. He used increasingly ruthless methods to seize the Spirit Transmission Tower, then the Federation council; those who opposed him became “nourishment” for him. 348

As Heaven-Breaking Douluo, he became Tower Master of Spirit Transmission Tower and raised a family, including his son Qian Gu Die Ting. He later became an Evil Soul Master and founded or led the Holy Spirit Cult under the identity of Dragon Lord. He concealed his identity behind a ghost-face mask and modified Battle Armor originally suited to the Coiled Dragon Staff into armor saturated with Evil Qi. 346

Dragon Lord obtained a portion of the Purple Blazing Sky-Destroying Dragon’s bloodline and used the Book of the Dead to forcibly devour, fuse, and alter it.
