"I've been a bit busy lately, but I haven't slacked on our Boys time, have I? And I've cooked up a bunch of Black jokes—wanna hear them?"

Blue Hawk, who was driving to pick up Li Wei, perked up: "Why not?"

Li Wei cleared his throat: "Why are Black people's palms white? Because when God was coloring them, they had both hands pressed against a police car!"

Blue Hawk gave a thumbs-up but didn't feel particularly impressed.

To be honest, as a hardcore Black discriminator, he'd heard way too many jokes about Black people and cops growing up.

Li Wei immediately realized he was being underestimated. If it were someone normal like Starlight or Firecracker, he'd just laugh it off.

But being looked down on by Blue Hawk, a guy with a screw loose—that he absolutely couldn't stand!

He went all out, sharing every Black joke he'd seen online in his past life.

Soon the car was filled with Blue Hawk's roaring laughter. America's joke pool was shallow—just a few slang puns or homophones—nothing compared to the creativity of the jokers back home.

As a return favor, Blue Hawk sang Li Wei a song: Sunshine Rainbow Little White Horse.

His Chinese was a mess, but that didn't matter—the key string of "negga" was authentic enough.

Too bad he didn't have the guts to sing it in public. On one hand, he had sports endorsements, including a basketball one, so it wasn't convenient to openly mock Black people.

On the other hand, to squeeze money from everyone, Vought pulled all sorts of tricks.

Including but not limited to Ezekiel's anti-gay stance and The Deep's marine animal protection. For racial diversity and the over fifty million Black people in America, they naturally had to push some Black superheroes.

A-Train, one of the current Seven, was Black—Blue Hawk didn't want to offend him.

Likewise, the upcoming Boys' Summit would have some Black attendees too. No need to stir trouble here.

Li Wei didn't push it. This was just a way to kill boredom.

Seeing they'd arrived, Blue Hawk slowed down but couldn't help asking: "I don't get it—why did you come this time?"

Usually, only the bottom-of-the-barrel superheroes showed up here. Even he was considered a VIP.

Li Wei was higher in the superhero rankings, and he'd heard Li Wei was stirring up a CP with Starlight. Even if Li Wei had agreed earlier, Blue Hawk thought he'd find an excuse to bail.

Li Wei fiddled with a pistol he'd bought on the black market: "I'm just curious about this place. You do your thing—I'm here to watch the show."

Blue Hawk instantly got it. Yeah, that was the Angel he knew.

In truth, that wasn't it at all. Li Wei was here on a gamble, hoping to run into some superhero with a special ability.

Through multiple successful copies, especially Firecracker's energy infusion, he'd gradually realized that many superheroes were useless, but that didn't mean their powers were truly worthless.

It was likely just because they lacked the brains or energy supply, leading to poor development and utilization of their abilities.

But if he took them over, he could breathe new life into powers mistaken for trash.

Also, since these people were attending this special gathering, getting close to them and copying their abilities was way easier than with regular superheroes.

After getting out, Blue Hawk knocked on the door. It swung open quickly, but Li Wei and Blue Hawk saw no one—just a very peculiar one-eyed long snake.

Even though he'd expected something like this, seeing it in person made Li Wei wince. He was really broadening his horizons!

Blue Hawk was also disgusted. He wasn't gay—seeing that thing just grossed him out, and it made him look bad in front of Li Wei!

He shouted: "Motherfucker, Sausage, put that thing away!"

With a thick Bear Country accent, a burly man with a full beard and red tight suit emerged from behind the sausage.

Notably, on his left chest was embroidered a hammer and sickle.

He was from Bear Country and had this special ability, yet Vought seemed determined to let the world know, forcing him to wear that emblem wherever he went.

Vought's malice was obvious.

They wanted to smear Bear Country to win America's favor.

Though Vought was an international corporation, its base was in America—offending Bear Country wasn't a big deal.

And it worked. The bearded man got huge rewards, living a life of luxury even years after retirement.

Of course, the price was that Bear Country had declared him a traitor, and he'd faced countless assassination attempts.

But in The Boys' World, Compound V was Vought's exclusive. Bear Country had no equivalent, so they couldn't mass-produce superheroes. Ordinary cross-border hits didn't do much to Love Sausage.

Besides his sausage, he'd been a second-tier superhero with decent physical enhancements.

"Aha, if it isn't Blue Hawk! Your friend looks familiar?"

Li Wei smiled faintly: "If you don't put that away, I guarantee you won't be using it for the next round."

Blue Hawk had told the organizers—the TNT Twins—about his intention to attend many days in advance, and the TNT Twins had personally and ceremoniously written an invitation letter. He didn't believe that Love Sausage, who had served as a receptionist for years, could be unaware of this.

Now, with him still trying to be a smartass here, Li Wei didn't mind teaching him a lesson!

Seeing Blue Hawk beside him also looking furious, Love Sausage felt a bit awkward. As a has-been, he really had no standing to act cocky in front of them.

He quickly let out a chuckle and stepped aside to make way: "Please, come in. You're very welcome to this party. I'll go notify the TNT Twins right away and have them gather everyone to welcome you both!"

Li Wei shook his head: "Forget it. I just want to keep a low profile. Don't tell anyone, and don't disturb everyone's fun."
