Resurrection Spell?

"Ah? That mysterious man is at Hogwarts? How could that be?"

Very few people dared to believe what Harry said.

Although there had always been prophecies that Voldemort would return, Voldemort had made no moves in reality. Even his loyal Death Eaters were basically all sitting in Azkaban.

So when Harry told Noah and the others that Voldemort had already entered Hogwarts, probably no one except Noah believed him, even if Harry said he had seen him himself.

But the question was, how had a weak little wizard like him not died after facing Voldemort?

Was he bragging, or trying to make himself seem more important?

Clearly, none of them chose to believe him. Harry was extremely anxious. He swore he had neither lied nor bragged, but these things really were difficult to believe.

Just when Harry was at his most anxious, Noah suddenly spoke. "You said you saw that mysterious man? What did he look like?"

"Huh?" Harry froze for a moment, then thought it over before answering seriously. "He was wearing black robes."

"Idiot! I'm asking whether he was a person or a spirit form. To put it more simply, was he a cloud of smoke?"

"Uh, he had a human shape. But does that make a difference?"

"Of course it makes a difference."

Noah shrugged. The difference was enormous.

Unfortunately, Noah was the only one who knew what was going on. Kate and the others did not understand why Noah was asking such a question.

"Noah, what difference does it make?" Hermione was the first to voice everyone's doubts.

"It's simple. I'm using it to judge that mysterious man's condition. By the way, Harry, have you ever been hurt? I mean, forcibly injured and had your blood taken?"

"I get hurt pretty often, but I've never gone through anything like that."

"Noah, what exactly do you mean?"

Noah had circled around the subject for so long that Luns finally could not take it anymore.

However, he seemed to have guessed Noah's purpose in asking those questions. He simply did not dare confirm it. It was not just him—Kate and the others seemed to have thought of something as well, and they looked at Noah thoughtfully.

"I don't know whether you've ever heard of a rather taboo subject: the Resurrection Spell."

"The Resurrection Spell? How could that be? Did you find it?"

"Yes. It's a very terrifying spell."

Noah nodded. Actually, even if he had not found it, he still knew the incantation for this spell perfectly well.

The reason he brought it up was only to make Harry more cautious, and to make himself seem more believable.

"This spell is rather interesting when you explain it. You need a cauldron, then put the body of a baby newly possessed by the mysterious man inside. After that, add the father's bones, the servant's flesh, and the enemy's blood in turn. Only then can the mysterious man truly be resurrected."

"So you were asking Harry about the mysterious man's condition because of that?"

"That's right. If the mysterious man had already been resurrected, we'd better pretend we knew nothing. But according to Harry, if he didn't get it wrong, then this mysterious man is probably in a soul state and attached to someone else. In that case, he might be easier to deal with."

After Noah finished saying everything in one breath, he found Kate and the others looking at him with extremely strange expressions.

As for Harry, he looked almost dumbfounded, which left Noah somewhat confused.

After a long while, Kate finally swallowed and asked, "What if he's possessing a student?"

"Then I can handle him. No matter how strong he was before, in a soul state, his strength is only as great as the person he possesses. Aside from his casting skill and awareness being better, he's otherwise just at a student's level."

"Of course. But if he's attached to a professor, and a fairly powerful professor at that..."

If the mysterious man really was attached to a powerful professor, they would be in serious trouble!

"I think we should stay out of this and tell Professor Dumbledore about it once he returns," Evan hesitated before saying quietly.

"No! If we do that, the mysterious man will definitely steal the Philosopher's Stone. You all know what the Philosopher's Stone can do. It'll be truly dangerous then!" Harry immediately became anxious when he heard that.

"Why didn't you tell Professor McGonagall? She's the Deputy Headmistress."

"I told her, but she didn't believe me."

"Enough, all of you, shut up!"

Seeing Harry arguing noisily and drawing the attention of others, Noah immediately scolded them in displeasure.

Perhaps because he had performed so outstandingly at school, his words truly carried weight. Everyone promptly quieted down.

"How about this? We'll go take a look tonight. I thought about it. If Voldemort sneaked in, then the person he possessed can't be very strong. Otherwise, he would attract the attention of Professor Dumbledore and the others. Of course, he wouldn't choose a student either, because students are too weak. So if it's only a fairly average professor, I think we can handle it together."

"A professor who isn't strong enough to draw too much attention? There really are quite a few like that. But Noah, are you sure we'll be all right?"

Ernie thought for a moment before asking. He was one of the calmer ones.

Although he had been frightened upon hearing about the mysterious man, Noah's analysis had made him much less afraid.

Besides, Noah was right. With so many of them, they might not necessarily be unable to handle a very average professor.

They had seen Noah choose Professor Lockhart as an opponent in the Room of Requirement. Although Noah had lost, Professor Lockhart had needed to give it his all as well.

And that had been a month ago. Who knew how much Noah might have improved by now?

They had already made considerable progress after using the training method Noah mentioned. Would the person who came up with that method be weak?

Of course, they still needed to be concerned.

"Don't worry. I think we'll be fine. If worse comes to worst, we can prepare more things to call for help. For example, we can leave a message for Professor McGonagall beforehand and have it inform her about us after we've been gone for a while."

"Good idea. If that's the case, I think we really should go take a look! When do we leave?"

"Obviously tonight. Do you want to act in broad daylight?"
