Thanos stood silently in the sky, looking at Noah, whose entire body radiated a faint golden glow. His voice was calm.
In his eyes, Noah was his prey. He was far stronger than the others because he faced very few restrictions in his universe. After meeting so many versions of himself, he naturally understood that clearly.
More importantly, he possessed four Infinity Stones, something none of the other versions of himself had managed to achieve.
He had personally destroyed Xandar's civilization, slaughtered half the life on that planet, and found the Power Stone.
By sheer luck, he encountered the Asgardians after Ragnarok had already occurred, when they had become a group of refugees. After killing half of them, including Loki, he obtained the Space Stone.
He attacked The Collector and obtained the Reality Stone. Finally, he sacrificed Gamora and obtained the Soul Stone.
After forcibly familiarizing himself with the powers and rules of those Stones in the most violent way possible, he received news that The Ancient One had died. He immediately sent Ebony Maw to ambush Earth and seize the Time Stone, but at that moment, another version of himself from another universe found him.
Thanos found that rather interesting. After giving it some thought, he made his decision—he would treat it as an early rehearsal. He also wanted to see just how powerful those who possessed the Stones in other universes were.
Thus, he recalled Ebony Maw, who had only just set off, and followed that other version of himself to this universe. After some conversation and observation, he discovered that this universe seemed stronger than his own.
