A searing aura instantly filled the entire cave. Lin Sheng nimbly drilled into the stone wall above.
The instant he entered the rock wall, the scorching currents below had already grown dense to the extreme. In Lin Sheng's horrified gaze, a thunderous boom erupted from one side of the cave.
Streams of red-and-yellow viscous liquid then spewed forth like a raging flood. In the blink of an eye, they had filled half the underground cave before flowing deeper underground.
"This is... magma..."
Feeling the terrifying heat scorch the air until it twisted and congealed, Lin Sheng drew a deep breath.
He now understood why the underground cave had been filled with such a dry, scorching atmosphere the moment he entered. Magma actually flowed through this place.
Lin Sheng looked at the red-and-yellow magma. This was the first time he had seen magma with his own eyes. He had not expected it to be in this world.
The magma did not fill the cave entirely, but the temperature within had already reached an extremely blistering level, enough to make even him feel a burning pain.
More and more magma poured from the cave wall to one side. Lin Sheng could not be bothered to remain here any longer and immediately planned to drill upward and leave.
Just as he was about to move, however, he suddenly saw something continuously bobbing within the erupting magma.
His gaze sharpened as he focused his eyesight on that stretch of magma. Within the thick molten flow floated an irregular object, sinking and rising from time to time.
It was a crimson object the size of a human head, covered in yellow patterns that flickered with a bright orange-yellow sheen.
