Dust billowed through the valley. A fierce gust swept it all away, revealing an enormous body embedded deep in the mountainside.
Through its ruptured head, stark white bones were clearly visible beneath the skin. Yet apart from skin and bones, there was no other tissue inside its body.
It was like an enormous empty shell.

With a flicker, he appeared before the giant earthworm. Despite its grievous injuries, it pulled itself out of the mountainside as though nothing had happened.
It swung its long tail, lashing at Lin Sheng.
The heavy tail hurtled toward him like an armored vehicle at full speed, carrying a ferocious gale.
Faced with such a savage attack, Lin Sheng merely slapped it aside, stopping the enormous tail. Then his hand tightened, unleashing terrifying strength and crushing the entire tail apart.
With that blow, the giant earthworm's enormous body collapsed to the ground as though all its strength had suddenly drained away, and lay motionless.
The powerful aura it had radiated rapidly faded, leaving it like a corpse that had been dead for countless years.
