In the Endless Void.
A streak of light swept across the pitch-black night.
It was a meteor shower made up of hundreds of rocks of varying sizes.
It hurtled through the void at tremendous speed.
Beside one of the rocks, a ball of light the size of an infant's head glowed brightly.
My mental energy has finally mostly recovered. I just don't know how much time has passed.
Lin Sheng murmured to himself inwardly.
He shifted his awareness. The enormous outline of the Tian Yuan Ghost Whale had long since vanished completely.
A long time had passed since he successfully broke through the world boundary. He had no idea exactly how long. In this Endless Void, even the passage of time had grown indistinct.
But he guessed that a year or even two must have passed.
Otherwise, his ball of consciousness would never have recovered this much.
After all, although he could replenish his mental energy in this void, the efficiency was abysmal. It certainly could not have recovered in just a few short months.
But where exactly am I now?
The ball of consciousness suddenly brightened a little and slowly moved a short distance through the cluster of meteors.
With much of his ball of consciousness restored, he had gained some ability to move within the meteor shower's tremendous momentum. Although moving was extremely slow and strenuous, it was still far better than when he could barely budge.
The meteor shower traveled incredibly fast, far faster even than he could at full speed in his prime.
After traveling through the void at such speed for at least a year or two, heaven only knew how far he had gone.
He expanded his perception and carefully examined his surroundings.
He could see stars suspended in the void, and soon noticed
