With a thought, Lin Sheng absorbed the Black-Needle Blood Rabbit into his body.
It was the first Strange Beast he had absorbed since arriving in Sunstar World.
He extended his palm. Tiny black holes appeared across his skin, and in the blink of an eye, inch-long black spikes emerged from them.
He reached out and dragged his hand across a tumor-covered, grotesque tree.
The black spikes on his hand carved wounds into the strange tree without the slightest resistance.
"It looks much the same as when the rabbit used it. So does it contain that so-called eerie poison?"
Lin Sheng murmured as he studied the pitch-black spikes.
This talent held little value for him, though it would be somewhat interesting if it contained eerie poison.
He shook his head slightly. His palm returned to normal, and without delaying any longer, he continued racing forward.
As he gradually approached the central region, oddly shaped Eerie Beasts appeared from time to time among the surrounding grotesque trees and bushes.
Lin Sheng turned none away, killing any he encountered.
However, these Eerie Beasts were not particularly strong, only about on par with the Black-Needle Blood Rabbit.
Half an hour later, he slowed his pace.
"It should be around here."
He surveyed his surroundings. Memories stirred in his mind, bringing forth scene after scene as he extended his perception.
Compared with his feeble basic attributes, his perception was still at its peak.
Within a breath, he had found his target.
"Here!"
His eyes lit up. Pushing off with his toes, he darted northwest and, after several bounds, stopped before a patch of swampy ground.
A damp, rotten stench flooded his nostrils. Seven blood-red plants swayed gently in the mud. What else could they be but Crimson Grass?
"Seven stalks of Crimson Grass. Not bad."
