The stretch ended with Nan Fusheng creating a new Soul Beast, resolving to form a Witch Cult, and heading toward Ming Capital.

• Di Tian recognized Qingque as an Imperial Divine Beast and agreed to protect her after Nahida warned him about her coming tribulation.
• Nan Fusheng revealed that Qingque’s arrival in the forest was part of an experiment, then created Soul Beast Marionettes while Qingque searched for corpses to mark.
• Qingque watched Huo Yuhao and Wang Qiu’er fight the Wolf Apes, then defeated the Zhongli brothers and agreed to keep Wang Qiu’er’s identity secret.
• Huo Yuhao’s group accepted Qingque for their journey, but she declined Cai Meier’s invitation to join Shrek Academy and left with Wang Qiu’er.

The Witch Cult advanced through the tournament by killing or terrifying its opponents, while Nan Fusheng pursued plans beyond the arena. Its quarterfinal clash with the Holy Spirit Sect ended with Pudu Cihang facing Tang Ya, leaving Huo Yuhao preparing to intervene as her resistance faltered.

• Sloth introduced the Witch Cult at Mingyue Hotel, and Nan Shuishui warned Nan Qiuqiu to concede if they faced its team.
• Real Person killed Wu Yifan and Wu Di during the preliminary matches, exposing the Witch Cult’s living, transformed summons and provoking public outrage.
• The Witch Cult swept through Group Two as Sharu, Cain, and Tomie killed opponents, and Tomie ultimately killed Cain after revealing she had survived.
• Nan Fusheng planned to move Yun Ming to the Dragon Valley Minor World, sent Qiangu Dongfeng material meant to provoke an investigation into Leng Yaozhu, and gave Na Nali a modified Lovesick Heartbreak Red.

Huo Yuhao survived the Evil Emperor's challenge, Shrek City fought off a massive Beast Tide, and Nan Fusheng welcomed Kiana Kaslana before plotting an auction scheme.

• Tang Ya attacked Pudu Cihang in the tournament, and Huo Yuhao, Bei Bei, Zhang Lexuan, and the Tang Sect fought to save her as the arena battle left her fate uncertain.
• Regulus Corneas emerged from the crater with Tang Ya, wounded Zhang Peng, and battled the Sun Moon Empire's soldiers before Nan Fusheng escaped with Tang Ya toward the Evil Demon Forest.
• Nan Fusheng used Huo Yuhao's stolen luck to help the Pseudo-Auspicious Beast be born, while Di Tian ordered the Soul Beast army to attack human cities, beginning with Shrek City.

Nan Fusheng used Ape God to settle his score with Di Tian, then sent him after Huo Yuhao, leaving the Tang Sect devastated and several survivors captive. Huo Yuhao learned that defeating Ape God was his final trial to inherit the God of Emotions’ position and find Wu Tong.

• Nan Fusheng prepared the revived Ape God, and Huo Yuhao formed a Soul Spirit Contract with the Evil Emperor before Ape God challenged Di Tian in the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Ape God defeated Di Tian, but the Silver Dragon King intervened, and Kiana reminded Ape God that Huo Yuhao had caused his family’s deaths, so Ape God chose to wait for him.
• After the Sun Moon Empire’s war ended, Ape God attacked the Tang Sect branch, killing Yan Shaozhe, Cai Meier, Qian Duoduo, and Xian Lin'er while overwhelming the defenders.
• Ape God left Xuan Zi gravely injured and captured Bei Bei, He Caitou, Xu Sanshi, Ma Xiaotao, and other survivors to deliver a challenge to Huo Yuhao.
