A good sleeping posture meant Mobius did not move around much while sleeping. The less she moved, the less magic Chen Luo had to expend.

"What happened?"

"Mm, how did it feel to sleep in frozen time?" Chen Luo asked.

"Frozen time?"

"That's right, frozen time. You might not believe it, but you just slept for over two hours in stopped time—and that was after I used the Herrscher of Knowledge's power to put you into a deep sleep."

"Sleeping that long even in deep sleep is enough to show how exhausted you are. Don't work overtime so late next time. Your health is more important. Though even if you did suddenly drop dead, you could just revive..." Chen Luo said.

"Didn't I tell you to wake me up in an hour?" Mobius asked as she sat up in bed.

"But an hour hasn't passed yet?" Chen Luo pointed at the time.

"Using time-stopping abilities consumes a lot of magic, doesn't it?" Mobius asked after a moment of silence.

"Uh, not really. It only consumes a normal amount." Chen Luo waved his hand.

"Hmph. Get out. Liars should stay out of my bedroom." Mobius snorted and lightly kicked Chen Luo with her bare, jade-like foot.

"Huh?"

"I need to get dressed."

"Oh, got it. Right, remember to eat breakfast. Because of the time stop, it's still hot." Chen Luo pointed to the breakfast beside Mobius on the nightstand, still giving off steam.

"Got it." Mobius nodded and began unbuttoning her pajama top, which had barely been buttoned to begin with.
