After Sakura came out changed, Naruto was naturally given a brutal beating by Sakura. As she hit him, she shouted, "No wonder nobody likes you! No wonder you're so annoying! Couldn't you have told me about something like that quietly? Did you have to say it in front of so many people? And you actually dared to peek at me? Are you looking to die?"
Watching Naruto get beaten, Shikamaru could not help thinking, Women really are the source of all trouble.
Ino, meanwhile, kept fanning the flames beside Sasuke. "Sasuke, look at how violent that wide forehead is. I'm much gentler, aren't I?"
Time passed quickly. Teams were eliminated from the Forest of Death every day, and everyone drew closer and closer to the Central Tower. Naruto's team and Shikamaru's team had begun working together after that day. On the third day, they encountered Neji's team and Hinata's team. Their current lineup was, well, undoubtedly invincible.
The commotion caused by four teams moving together was naturally enormous, but no other teams dared to cause trouble. Anyone who did was beaten up, thrown out, and forced to leave behind their scrolls. Now all four teams had gathered both Heaven and Earth Scrolls. Naruto's team had gotten theirs from Orochimaru, Hinata's team had already collected theirs before joining them, and Neji's team had as well. Shikamaru's team had completed theirs from the teams that came looking for trouble later on.
The four teams slowly made their way toward the Central Tower. If nothing unexpected happened, they would reach it by tonight.
Naruto stared intently at the Heaven Scroll in his hands. Out of curiosity, he even wanted to open it, but Shikamaru stopped him. "Naruto, I'd advise you not to even think about opening it. Do you remember the smile on
