"Phew~"

It took Isaac quite a while to calm his excited heart somewhat. Still carrying a trace of excitement in his voice, he asked, "Do you have a name?"

"No."

"Hmm, then I'll give you one. From now on, you'll be called Lapis Lazuli!"

"Yes, Master." Lapis Lazuli's expression still showed no obvious change. She merely nodded lightly.

However, if one looked carefully, there actually was a change. A few pixels at the corners of her lips had lifted upward. Isaac giving her a name had clearly made her very happy.

Too bad it was impossible to tell.

"Right, let me look at your abilities... Hm? Two Authorities?" Once he had calmed down, Isaac followed the special connection between himself and Lapis Lazuli to inspect her abilities. The moment he did, the emotions he had just settled stirred once more.

It was perfectly normal for Lapis Lazuli to have an Authority. Although she was Isaac's creation and his personal follower, her species was actually that of a demon god follower, since Isaac had shaped her using the power of a demon god.

Thus, Lapis Lazuli's race was a demon god species. She had inherited one of the more common Authorities among demon god species from the Lord of Myriad Flesh—Invisible Hand.

Just as its name suggested, it could condense four arms that lower-level beings could not perceive. They possessed strength equal to the user's own and could move freely within the range of magical perception. Though common, it was an exceptionally practical Authority with considerable power.

Even if Lapis Lazuli currently could not bring out the Authority's full power, it would be excellent whether for assisting Isaac's experiments or for combat. At the very least, it was far stronger than Little Mouse's Command Rat Swarm.

If obtaining that Authority had been expected, however, then the second Authority truly surprised him...

Perfect Form. It allowed her to freely adjust her body and alter her appearance, gender, race, and more. Before reaching Tier 3, it was a standard support Authority that did not change the power one possessed. It came from...

Besides being a demon god species, Lapis Lazuli was also a God Seed!

She was drawing two salaries!

But after giving it some thought, Isaac understood where her Divinity Network had come from. The story of the God Thief contained a plot where Isaac created gods, and that plot had merged with his real-life experience of transforming Little Mouse into a God Seed.

All the followers he created were God Seeds. In other words, every follower had two Authorities!

Isaac: "...Every follower my ass. Isn't there only one?"

Feeling the information contained within the legend, Isaac was somewhat depressed. At present, the God Thief could only create one follower. Raising that limit was probably quite difficult; at the very least, it was not something he could hope for before becoming a Grand Wizard.

Even so, this was already powerful. She could fight, infiltrate, and conduct experiments with Isaac. Very good. Excellent.

After all, although Lapis Lazuli had a fairly severe lack-of-expression, lack-of-emotion, lack-of-common-sense disposition, her intelligence did not seem low so far. At least, she was far smarter than Little Mouse!

They had finished everything for today. They would return and rest for a while, learn more about Lapis Lazuli's strength along the way, then head to the Flesh Cult headquarters tomorrow for the final preparations.

Not only could its rat-summoning range encompass all of Filis Town, but it could also selectively strengthen the rat swarm under its command! They could fly through the skies, dive into the seas, burrow through the earth—there would be nothing they could not do!

Most importantly, even ordinary rats would instantly become Tier 1 magical creatures!

One spell, and tens of thousands of Tier 1 magical creatures...

That would be enough to wipe out some small nations!

And that was merely the simplest application!

Of course, Authorities only possessed such terrifying effects in the hands of High Wizards. That was also why High Wizards still carried the title of demigods.

Therefore, on Lapis Lazuli, both Invisible Hand and Perfect Form were merely somewhat powerful skills with very low consumption. Her truly formidable qualities were her magical beast-like physical attributes and mana reserves!

Moreover, unlike Isaac, as a demon god follower, she possessed extremely strong combat instincts. She did not need to painstakingly train her combat techniques; she was naturally suited to the path of cultivating both magic and martial ability.

As he spoke, Remington glanced at Grand Princess Filo, just like this one.
