The True Gods Who Abandoned Their Teammate, the Evil God Who Covered Their Retreat, and the Baffled Demon God
Isaac passed through the Void Sawteeth with Mephisto and the God of Strife, arriving before the Howling Dungeon.
The Howling Dungeon was one of Dungeon City's main targets. It was home chiefly to wolf-type monsters: numerous, but individually weak. Their flesh was also relatively low in toxins and could be eaten after a little preparation.
Though wolf-type monsters predominated, there were plenty of other creatures inside, even herbivorous monsters. Its diverse wildlife made it an excellent source of food.
It was also now the main supplier of raw materials for Divinity Fragments.
Isaac had chosen this dungeon as their point of entry mainly because its wolf-type monsters really were weak on their own. Even after reaching the Fourth Tier, that probably would not change much.
Dungeon monsters were different from ordinary monsters outside. Under normal circumstances, any monster that reached the Third Tier, let alone the Fourth, was formidable, even if it had originally belonged to a pack.

How much they retained, of course, depended on the Demon God who shaped them.
In any case, investigations showed that the monsters on the Howling Dungeon's lowest floor were on the weaker side of the Fourth Tier, but relatively numerous. Their exact number remained unknown.
As one of Dungeon City's most popular dungeons, its entrance was crowded. People traveled in small groups amid the bustle, and Isaac even spotted humans from other magical cities among them.
Isaac raised an eyebrow at the sight
