But soon, the God of Strife realized something was wrong. It was not that he had figured it out himself—the demon god behind him had!
The God of Strife's [demonization] divine authority had grown stronger through the power of [mystery]. In turn, the [demonization] divine authority held by the other demon gods would weaken accordingly, even though that divine authority was already extremely weak.
But however weak it was, it was still divine authority—the power of a god!
It still mattered a great deal to gods. Especially since the God of Strife's [demonization] divine authority had come from him, the loss of power was particularly noticeable in his case!
So he immediately contacted the God of Strife and told him what was happening.
He did not suspect the God of Strife. He had already investigated his origins: he was merely an ordinary person who had stumbled into incredible luck, not some True God who had severed his own power.
Although the God of Strife had done his utmost to conceal this, how could that little scheme of his fool a demon god?
And when the demon god told him, the God of Strife's first reaction was panic!
Because he knew he had been exposed!
This terrified the God of Strife. No amount of reassurance from the demon god behind him helped. His mind was filled with the scene of the Lord of Blood blowing himself up without expression to cover their retreat.
And with the Mother Goddess's cold expression, so utterly respectful toward Isaac. Fear was what drove the God of Strife to resist. Precisely because of that, when his hope of resistance was about to crumble, the fear in his heart would swell to unprecedented heights!
Not far behind him, Isaac watched the God of Strife's plainly visible panic
