Void Wraiths were merely Fourth Tier life forms created by the Void Witch using Void Magic. They were entirely dependent on the Void Witch, and their power was even inferior to that of divine followers.
That was only to be expected. The power of a Virtual Deity could not create Fourth Tier divine followers. Even Mephisto, after managing Dungeon City for several years, had only accumulated a handful of Third Tier followers. How could Fourth Tier followers be so easy to obtain?
Thus, although Void Wraiths appeared intimidating in terms of rank, they were actually far weaker than normal Fourth Tier beings. Moreover, they possessed no Authority—that was a power only true life forms could awaken. It was merely because Void Magic was so exceptionally peculiar.
Therefore, in most battles between beings of the same tier, Void Wraiths only held a tremendous advantage due to the broken properties of Void Magic.
