A moment later, Isaac stood beside the stone pillar, looking thoughtful. As expected, the data the two of them had collected contained some discrepancies. Still, it was not too bad. They were High Wizards, after all, so the discrepancies were minor.
Besides, he had overseen the entire experimental process remotely, so there was little that needed changing. After a moment's thought, a revised plan took shape in his mind.
Clap, clap. Isaac clapped his hands and looked at the ten people. "Close enough. Get ready to begin the experiment."
At his words, everyone grew solemn. Those who had come here clearly knew something of Isaac's research. By now, they understood that he was not developing spells exclusive to Star Wizards or studying the great Astral God's Shadow.
His fundamental aim was to perfect the path of Star Wizards and give them true spellcasting abilities!
This might be their chance to break through to the Fourth Tier!
Of course, apart from that ultimate goal, once the Star Wizard path was perfected, advancing to either the Second Tier or the Third Tier would become far easier than it was now. That was what they sought.
An overly distant goal could be daunting, but for many here, the Second and Third Tiers seemed almost within arm's reach.
Still, they had thought Isaac would first familiarize himself with the situation here and wait at least two or three days before starting the actual experiments. They had not expected him to move so quickly—
At that thought, everyone felt a little uneasy. They had no idea just how much Isaac could accomplish. Was this confidence, or arrogance?
Their unease did not affect the experiment's progress, however. Soon, Isaac entered an enclosed room. A bed stood in its center, surrounded by concentric rings of densely packed
