The godhood network had been only one of the subjects Isaac encountered when he first entered the Wizarding World, but it held tremendous potential and laid a crucial foundation for his current power and knowledge. He would be using it again this time, because a godhood network could also cast spells, granting genuine spellcasting abilities of one's own, albeit divine spells. To apply it to faith wizards, however, he would certainly have to make some modifications. Simply transplanting a godhood network would put them on the divine species' path to godhood. Pinning down the future of a supernatural path and ensuring it was not merely a copy of an existing one was another difficulty in experiments of this kind. Many wizards spent decades or even centuries on their work, only to discover in the end that it was merely another branch of an existing supernatural path...
The path of a faith wizard was somewhat simpler, though. The only thing he needed to avoid was the formation of godhood after the third tier.
Condensing godhood was how divine species became gods. Normally, when a member of a divine species reached the second tier, the godhood network within their body already extended throughout it, leaving no room for further expansion. To advance, they therefore needed to contract that network and condense it into a single point, turning a relatively diffuse energy network into solid godhood.
Thus, although using a godhood network as a medium for spellcasting was feasible, it could only take someone as far as the second tier. Beyond that lay the path of the gods. This was the natural direction of a godhood network's development, and as a naturally evolved path, it was rather difficult to alter in this respect.
Fortunately, this trip to the War Game had introduced Isaac
