Isaac stood before the Lord of Billions of Flesh and Blood, the Divine Tome in his hands rustling as its pages turned. An endless stream of crimson life energy poured from it into the Lord of Billions of Flesh and Blood, combining with the power of the Flesh Dimension to rapidly restore his condition.
The Lord of Billions of Flesh and Blood recovered at a rate visible to the naked eye, making the God of Gourmet's brow twitch as he watched from the side!

Normally, although demon gods had inexhaustible energy with the support of their Dimensional Worlds, the inherent flaws of those worlds meant that this energy usually served only one purpose and could not be put to any other use. For instance, the Flesh Dimension's power was particularly effective at Flesh Mutation, so it could only be used for that sort of thing, or simply condensed into a Magic Cannon attack, which would also carry a Flesh Mutation effect. It could not be used to heal injuries. In other words, although their energy was infinite, they still had to recover slowly when injured!
That was also the fundamental reason the Lord of Billions of Flesh and Blood had fallen into eternal slumber.
After suffering one devastating injury after another, his wounds had not healed in the slightest. Instead, they had only grown worse, until a newly acquired Floating City that was not even in sixty-percent-new condition had blasted him straight into eternal slumber. Of course, that did not mean his power could not restore his condition at all, but doing so required overdrawing and squeezing out the Flesh Dimension's essence. Although some of his injuries would heal, the price was a permanent drop in power, which was no small cost even for a demon
