The Demon Wizard was a truly remarkable wizard. Was he a villain or secretly one of the good guys? Truthfully, even the Main World's demigod wizards still couldn't tell after all these years. The Wizarding World had been quite a dark place in his early days, which was precisely what had driven him to establish the Demon Dominator School.
A school like that could never have emerged in the current Wizard Era. For one thing, cooperating with the Abyss was like bargaining with a tiger for its skin—an outrageous gamble. For another, the Demon Dominator's specialty, a nested demon-swarm strategy, was an atrocity most modern wizards' moral standards would never allow them to commit.
So no matter how one looked at it, he hardly seemed like someone who would fall into the Abyss's clutches. Yet that was exactly what had happened!
Although he had indeed controlled a sixth-tier demon king and become a demigod, that wasn't much of an achievement in itself. His precise circumstances had therefore remained a mystery. Now that Isaac and the others had met him in person, how could they not be curious?
Meanwhile, if Isaac's group felt curiosity tinged with surprise, the three opposite them were utterly bewildered. They exchanged looks and remained silent for a long while. After a moment's hesitation, the Abyssal Dragon turned to the Demon Wizard. "Can you wizards... fake demigod titles?"
Beneath his black robes, the Demon Wizard's expression grew grave. "No. Demigod titles are connected to a Great Creation."
"Then..."
"Don't ask me. I don't know either!"
The two demon monarchs exchanged looks at that. Was this a fourth-tier demigod, or a demigod disguised as a fourth-tier wizard?
But what would be the point?
No matter how well you disguised yourself, you weren't actually fourth tier. You still couldn't
