When the man on the operating table had his chest opened by Isaac, Isaac swiftly removed his heart. At the same time, strands of Magic Power gathered, quickly forming a peculiar spell formation that replaced the man's heart and maintained his circulation.
After removing the heart, Isaac flicked his fingertips and instantly cast a Spell upon it, temporarily preserving its vitality. Unlike previous heart transplant surgeries, a Bloodline Wizard's heart transplant required retaining their original heart.
Thus, Isaac carefully set it aside before turning to deal with the elemental fox, a particularly unusual magical creature nearby.
It was not powerful. Not only was it merely a mid-level First Tier creature, but its actual combat ability was inferior even to some lowly magical creatures. It was utter trash among magical creatures!
Yet this very trash creature possessed an extremely unusual innate magic—Elemental Power!
Its unique Magic Power could convert into any elemental power without loss. Unfortunately, while that sounded impressive, its actual effect was abysmal. Though the conversion incurred no loss, the elemental fox itself possessed very little Magic Power----
Like most First Tier magical creatures, its talents were focused on its physical body. Its reserves of Magic Power were merely passable, and most importantly, elemental power alone was useless. At best, it could light a fire, stir up a breeze, or splash some water----
Its destructive power was exceedingly low, virtually nonexistent against supernatural beings----
Its sole unique trait, Elemental Power, was nothing noteworthy to spellcasters either. Wizards could easily use spells to convert their own Magic Power into the elemental power corresponding to a spell formation. Although there would be some loss, as spells, their might far surpassed mere elemental conversion!
Therefore, although elemental foxes were unusual, they had always occupied the bottom of the magical creature food chain.
