About an hour later, Vivian's Squad left the Adventurer's Guild and arrived at a secluded corner of Lamigium, walking down a deserted, dilapidated road.
Vivian looked over the twisting, rundown road, then turned to Tier behind her.
"Are you sure this is the place?"
Vivian sought confirmation from Tier.
"If the address written on it was correct."
Tier gave an indifferent reply.
"B-But this doesn't look like somewhere people could live."
Lumya timidly voiced her concern.
"I've never heard of a place like this either. If all you wanted was somewhere to hide, though, it would be quite perfect."
Merika seemed a little nervous as well, keeping her staff tightly before her.
That was how the members of Vivian's Squad carefully discussed the matter.
Only Shien kept his mouth shut and followed behind everyone, perfectly demonstrating what it meant to stay out of it.
He had been acting this way ever since Tier claimed to have a lead on their target.
No one noticed anything strange, so they simply followed the address Tier had provided and came here.
But just as Lumya had said, this place did not look inhabitable at all. It looked more like an abandoned area where countless wild beasts and even monsters gathered. Even a slum was probably better than this.
Shien found it even more unbelievable. He had no idea why a town would have a place like this. Was it an undeveloped district?
Under normal circumstances, with such questions in mind, Shien would have asked Vivian's Squad about it long ago.
But today, Shien only wanted to obediently keep quiet and be a weak, helpless, pitiful baby.
Under those circumstances, Vivian gave her orders.
"Whatever the case, let's go in and take a look first," Vivian said softly. "Otherwise, with no clues, we can
