"Since life has limits, what about non-life?"

This was the hypothesis the High Priest had proposed in pursuit of transcendence.

According to the High Priest's hypothesis, an existence transformed into a Great Spirit Body could not be alive, or else it could not transcend naturally. Yet transcendence itself was a concept born from breaking through the limits of life. Non-life did not even possess the concept of levels, so how could it transcend?

And if that stone possessed life, was it still non-life?

Thus, the High Priest's hypothesis was fantastical, but merely fantastical. Its very existence was contradictory, making it fundamentally impossible.

The proof was that whether it was Limjo or Lainy, both owners of Death Great Spirit Bodies possessed levels.

Lainy was Limit-tier, while Limjo was Legendary-tier. If the latter continued to grow, he would eventually reach Limit-tier as well.

But their limit was only Limit-tier. It was absolutely impossible for them to naturally transcend as the High Priest's hypothesis had claimed.

What was more, due to their unique nature, after transforming into Great Spirit Bodies, they would absorb massive amounts of Spirit Essence to increase their strength. Thus, before reaching Limit-tier, they would encounter no bottlenecks and would never be stuck
