After Shien's forceful actions, the pressure that had hung over the entire Imperial Capital for the past few days finally dissipated.

The citizens all breathed sighs of relief. They were still shaken and terrified in retrospect, yet this sparked a fresh wave of discussion, making the Imperial Capital lively once more.

The Empire Knights could finally focus on their duties as well, throwing themselves into the reconstruction of the Imperial Capital and the Imperial Palace.

As for Shien and the others, they returned straight to the Imperial Palace, sat down in the bedchamber, and finally had the chance to talk properly.

This time, Jacinta had come to the Imperial Capital for two reasons.

One was to stop the demons who had come to the Human Realm and prevent them from going too far, thereby breaking the peace the Demon Lords had worked so hard to maintain.

The other was to have a proper discussion with Shien about what came next after learning his true identity.

"Because your identity was exposed, the Demon Realm has fallen completely into chaos." Jacinta was blunt. "A thousand years may be a very long time for humans, but among demons, there are many who already existed a thousand years ago and personally took part in the great war between the God Race, humans, and demons."
