Chapter 846: Appearing Before the Entire World
Before long, Shafna, having thrown out several unsettling declarations, left on her own, light as a feather and without taking a single cloud with her.
Her carefree behavior made it seem as though she had deliberately come to declare her claim.
She did not even take Lilith with her, simply leaving Lilith with Shien. She had come lightly and departed just as freely.
Everyone's gazes instinctively followed Shafna's retreating figure. Only Shien stared at her seductive, butterfly-like backside, wondering whether he should leave two handprints on it and let her know just how annoyed he was right now.
After Shafna left, the others also rose one after another, each burdened by their own thoughts.
"I still have some friends to visit and need to mention the matter of the Old Demon Faction, so I won't disturb everyone any longer." As Sophie said this, she looked at Shien and solemnly added, "Also, the Elves will stand on your side. You need not worry about the Elves' position during the Three Races conference."
Leaving those words behind, Sophie departed with Leia and Nia.
Carol glanced at Shien, but she did not deliberately reminisce with him. She silently followed Sophie away.
Geno seemed to have something she wanted to say to Shien, perhaps intending to ask about Merika. But in the end, she merely snorted coldly and left with Carol.
"I-I still need to go to the temple and discuss the reception for the Goddesses with Pope Yule. Let's leave it at that for today. I'll come find you later!"
Iris looked reluctant to leave. Especially after Shafna appeared, she seemed like a pitiful young wife afraid her husband might fall for someone else—weak and helpless. Yet, under Oz and Mafy's reminders, she ultimately left unwillingly.
