A month ago, on the night the Royal Capital battle ended, Danas, leader of the New Primal Demon, declared war on every faction in Omnipotens in pursuit of true peace.
At first, his declaration of war did not draw much attention from the upper ranks of the various factions.
There were two reasons for that.
One was that the Human Realm and Demon Realm had both been plunged into dire straits at the time. Battles in many places had yet to be declared over, and many people had no spare energy to pay attention to Danas's proclamation. They could only deal with the threat posed by the alchemy demon armies and Demonoid Larva hordes first.
The other was that many believed the Old Demon Faction's Primal Demons had been dealt a devastating defeat and no longer possessed the strength to launch an assault on such a massive scale.
And that was indeed true.
Hermes, their former leader, who had become a complete demon, had perished from lethal poison.
The Primal Demons' Great Apostles and Apostles were either dead, wounded, or captured alive.
The Primal Demons' emissaries had likewise been all but wiped out.
Furthermore, the powerful individuals from each faction who had been trapped in the Hall of Glory had already escaped. They were organizing operations, resolving crises across the world, slaughtering the alchemy demon armies and Demonoid Larva hordes, and rapidly whittling down the Primal Demons' forces. With their strength so badly depleted, how could the Primal Demons possibly still have the ability to start a war?
Yet the people who thought so were soon blasted blank by one grave development after another.
