A girl with slightly dark skin and exotic features quietly emerged from the darkness at the other end and approached Danas.
"It seems you failed on your end as well."
The girl called the Queen Consort spoke with a sigh.
"If Your Highness says 'as well,' then that means you failed too, doesn't it?" Danas said noncommittally. "I told you long ago. Mitra was left with old wounds that could not be healed after the Demon King's dying power struck back. He ultimately passed away, and even you, having obtained the Branch of Flourishing and reached transcendence, cannot awaken him with necromancy."
