"Master and servant?"
At once, the Goddess's words made Shien think of the pair of girls who looked like twin sisters.
Other than them, Shien could not imagine what other master-and-servant pair could possibly interest Supreme God Omnis.
The Goddess, transformed into a Demon God with only one eye, held up God's Spear in one hand as she stared at Shien.
"She is curious what choice that master-and-servant pair will make after learning part of the truth about the past."
The Goddess spoke calmly.
"So long as your personal safety is not in danger, she will not intervene in the current situation."
After saying that, the Goddess lowered God's Spear.
Countless questions rose in Shien's heart, along with a strange feeling regarding the Goddess's attitude.
He felt that this Goddess was not only different from before in many unnatural ways, but also constantly gave off a detached air, as though she stood at an unattainable height and looked down upon the world, making even him feel a reverence that compelled him to look up at her.
That feeling of reverence had not existed in the past.
Yet the other party gave Shien no time to investigate or think.
"That said, since you have come all this way, it would be rather unreasonable to send you back empty-handed." The Goddess said indifferently, "I will give you a hint."
The Goddess slightly raised her eyelids and spoke words that changed Shien's expression.
"That life-form named Danas does not ultimately seek war. He seeks to revive the Demon Lord."
The Goddess tapped the shaft of God's Spear against the floor beneath her feet, as though referring to an undead being slumbering underground, her face expressionless.
"Revive the Demon Lord?"
Shien's pupils suddenly contracted.
Danas's ultimate objective was actually this?
Was this a joke?
