Danas gazed down below as though he could see the Elven Village within its barrier, a wistful expression appearing on his face.
"That doesn't sound like you." The Queen Consort stood beside Danas, looking at his sentimental expression without emotion. "It's only an Elven Village. It has nothing to do with you, so why are you feeling so nostalgic?"
To the Queen Consort, Danas was merely putting on an act.
However, Danas only smiled faintly.
"After all, the last time I came here was my debut battle. This time, I'll be facing my most troublesome opponent."
That was Danas's explanation.
"I won't be accompanying you." The Queen Consort decisively shook her head. "The Holy Sword restrains me far more severely than it restrains you Demonoids. If I faced that Hero, I'm afraid I'd be defeated before long."
The Queen Consort knew herself well enough.
It couldn't be helped. While Demonoids certainly feared the Hero's Holy Sword, as long as they were careful not to be struck by it, they would not necessarily be in trouble.
But the Queen Consort was different.
