Shien encountered Milu and Lide in Taiger Forest and joined them in destroying the Primal Demon’s surviving demon refinements. In Elven Village, his presence stirred the fairies and drew him into a conflict between Merika and Geno, ending with Shien promising to take responsibility for Merika and help her face her people.

• Shien discovered that the Elves’ hot spring was a Magic Power Source, then met Milu and Lide after they sensed Aiyi’s name.
• Lide explained that the Primal Demon had used Taiger Forest for Demon Refining Rituals, and Shien helped Milu wipe out the surviving demon refinements.
• Lide informed Sophie that the Primal Demon’s plan to create a Seventh Demonoid seemed near completion, then stayed with Shien and the others in Elven Village.
• Shien’s magic power attracted the fairies, and Carol learned that their Reincarnation Periods had shortened, possibly strengthening the Elves.
• Merika told Shien that she had left the village to pursue strength and admitted her feelings for him, but Geno tried to take her away.
• Geno attacked Shien and set parts of the village ablaze, so Carol and the Elf Division detained her and ordered her to apologize.
• Shien took Merika to a hidden Magic Power Source, encouraged her to trust her own strength, and became intimate with her.
• Merika feared her people would condemn her for choosing Shien, but he promised to take responsibility, marry her, and help resolve the problem.

Nadula revealed the origin of Shien’s blessing and helped Merika become her Blessing Bearer, while Shien and Lyd uncovered a Primal Demon facility in Taiger Forest. Shien confronted Maki, whose escape and threat to those around him led him to unleash Lilith’s evil energy across the forest, where Maki struggled to survive as Sophie prepared the Elves for battle.

• Shien learned from Nadula that his Supreme God’s Blessing had caused Merika’s magic to surge, and Nadula invited Merika to become her Blessing Bearer.
• Nadula revealed that the first Hero was Nien and explained that the God Race had been created to guide Heroes against Demon Lord Clatiss.
• Shien and Lyd found and entered a hidden Primal Demon facility in Taiger Forest, where Shien destroyed several demon-refined creatures.
• Maki revealed herself as an Apostle of the Primal Demon, fought Shien, and escaped after transforming into Merika to make him divert his attack.
• Shien returned to the treehouse and ordered Lilith to spread malicious energy across Taiger Forest so he could hunt Maki.
• Lilith filled the forest with evil energy that drove its monsters mad and made them attack Maki, who had planned to use Merika to reach Count Poztut and kill his fiancée.
• Shien warned Sophie, Leia, and Nia that Maki was in the forest, and Sophie ordered the Elves to stay behind the barrier while the Elf Division prepared to fight.
• Maki fought the crazed monsters and tried to escape Taiger Forest, but the evil aura eroded her defenses and she realized Shien had set the trap for her.

After Shien killed Maki and learned more about the danger surrounding Merika, he spent the Festival of Peace with his companions before setting out for the Empire. There, he found Rocket facing a politically motivated demand to resign as Knight Commander.

• Aiyi, Lyd, and Milu captured Maki after a battle through the devastated Taiger Forest, and Shien killed her when she tried to take him with her.
• Shien used Celestial Breathe to heal Maki before the fight, while Carol explained how Maki had deceived Sophie and Sophie had sealed the Land of Despair’s curses within herself.
• Danas revealed that he had arranged for Shien to kill Maki, while Sophie concealed details of the incident from visiting envoys and presented Shien as an assistant who helped capture an apostle.
• Shien learned that Merika needed to train in the Divine Realm, spent the Festival of Peace with his companions, and decided to investigate Moro in the Empire and seek Nien in the Divine Realm.
• Aiyi confessed her feelings for Shien and kissed him before departing for the Demon Realm with Lyd and Milu, while Roxie returned to the royal capital.
• Nadula tasked Nolde, Welter, and Shiltee with monitoring Shien, and the three sisters accepted despite Lourdes’s doubts about their ability to work independently.
• Shien arrived in the Imperial Capital with Lilith and Lasha and found Rocket facing rumors of treason and pressure from Salilo to resign as Knight Commander.
• Rocket refused to resign while innocent, as Salilo admitted he was using the treason suspicions to take the position for himself and House Renitra.

Shien intervened when House Renitra attacked House Bigusle, then destroyed House Laifirut and investigated Harvis’s lead on Moro. Beneath a hidden complex, he found Capeline imprisoned and learned that Moro’s schemes targeted the Hero’s descendants and the legendary Branch of Flourishing.

• Salilo attacked Rocket while Geno’s knights cornered Tilly, but Shien knocked the knights unconscious and forced Salilo to withdraw.
• Rocket told Shien that Moro and House Laifirut had turned the Empire against him and Harvis, and revealed that Tier had been gravely wounded in an ambush.
• Shien attacked House Laifirut, killed many of its leaders, and brought down its underground hall, while a cloaked swordsman destroyed the Demonoid Larva that emerged from the ruins.
• Shien met Harvis in the Imperial Palace and learned about Moro’s movements, a hidden location on Harvis’s map, and Lainy Bafien, whom Moro had secretly protected.
• Shien found a concealed entrance behind a waterfall and followed Limjo Streim into an underground complex, where the High Priest used Spirit Essence to strengthen him and ordered a search for intruders.
• Shien bypassed a Legendary-tier Corpse Dragon and found Capeline imprisoned among captive Shattered Blade Knights.
• Shien freed and healed Capeline, who told him about Moro’s interrogation, the legend of the Branch of Flourishing beneath the Empire, and her descent from the previous Emperor’s daughter.
• Shien concluded that Moro had manipulated the Emperor to persecute the Hero’s descendants, and Capeline recognized him as the help Harvis had requested from the Kingdom.
