Peter Quill shamelessly offered an ingratiating smile, then tried a more roundabout approach.

"What I mean is, aren't you going to question her about her background? Someone with skills like hers probably isn't a nobody."

When Gamora had been fishing for information from Star-Lord earlier, she hadn't introduced herself. Star-Lord didn't usually pay much attention to women's names anyway. As long as he could sleep with them, their names didn't matter.
