Chief George Stacy slammed his fist against his desk, furious at the Iron Legion's sudden appearance.
Chief George had already been unhappy that the police had to rely on superheroes to handle cases they found difficult, but at least that only encroached on part of their duties. Compared with the sheer volume of cases, there were still far too few superheroes.
But now, as long as Tony Stark kept expanding his Iron Legion, it wouldn't be long before America's police became entirely dispensable. At most, they would go to the scene and handle the cleanup after the Iron Legion had solved the problem...
